Tee Bar, also known as T-bar or T-beam, is a structural beam with a T-shaped cross-section. Tee bar is widely used in construction, manufacturing and engineering applications due to its strength, versatility, and ease of use. The T-bar design offers high load-bearing capacity and is often used in frameworks, supports and other structural components. T-bars are available in various materials, with mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel being the most commonly used due to their unique properties and wide-ranging applications.

Uses of tee bar (T-bar) include construction, civil engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, automotive, marine, aerospace, energy, interior design, architecture, oil & gas and structural applications.

Grades

Mild Steel S275 T-bars are structural steel sections made from low carbon steel with a minimum yield strength of 275 MPa. They are commonly used in general construction and engineering applications due to their strength, versatility and ease of fabrication. S275 T-bars are hot-rolled and feature a “T” shaped cross-section, making them ideal for use in load-bearing structures, frameworks, and bracing components. They offer good weldability and machinability, allowing for easy cutting, drilling and joining using standard fabrication techniques. While S275 provides reliable mechanical strength, it has low inherent corrosion resistance. For outdoor or humid environments, protective coatings like painting or galvanizing are recommended.
