Mild steel angle bar, also commonly referred to as mild steel angle, carbon steel angle bar or mild steel angle iron, is a low carbon steel bar that has L-cross shaped section with two legs -equal or unequal and the angle would be 90 degree. Mild steel angle bars are usually hot-rolled and are the most widely used structural steel in the construction industry because of the low cost. Mild steel angle bars are popular for their excellent weld performance, formability and ease of machining. As such, they are often used in large structural projects such as high-rise buildings, bridges, transmission towers and factories.

Grades
